When
Oasis's third album 'Be Here Now' came out in 1997 people
called it the death of Brit-Pop. After conquering the world
with 'Definitely Maybe' and '(What's The Story) Morning Glory?',
the Gallaghers et al had let the fame and drugs bloat their
heads, and their music. Bloatedness aside, it was full of
great tunes - D'You Know What I Mean, Stand By Me,
Don't Go Away.
